Majella Cabernet Sauvignon 2008 750ml
Our Price: $37.95

Universally regarded as one of Coonawarra's greatest wines it continues to win trophies and medals throughout Australia and the world. The wine has a wonderful deep magenta colour with a rich nose, showing just a little dusty oak. The palate is true Coonawarra cabernet - very structured, with layers mint chocolate and blackcurrant combined with cigar box and leafy characters. Very rich and very complex!

Summerfield Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2002 750ml

This is a luscious example of a great pyranese red. Complex fruit characters supported by cinnamon spice, lift the nose. A balanced and well structured palate lingers to the end with a finish to remember.

Moss Wood Cabernet Sauvignon 2006 750ml
Was: $120.00 Our Price: $108.00

the initial impact is one of vibrant red and dark fruits, with ripe red currants and mulberries. There are also complex undertones of earth, chocolate and malt biscuits, combined with camphor and wax. The nose is then completed by an oak combination of toast, vanillin, cedar and lead pencil shavings

Moss Wood Cabernet Sauvignon 2008 750ml
Our Price: $122.00

This shows a classic snapshot of what the 2008 vintage was all about. Of course, the aroma contains the typical Moss Wood Cabernet Sauvignon characters of mulberry and red currant but these are given significant lift by pretty notes that can be traced back to the early Autumn. Cabernet’s rose-like and pomegranate scents are not often retained but in this wine they help the nose fill the glass. In the background the wine still retains the typical dark chocolate, earth and leatherlike complexities, as well as spicy, toasty oak

Moss Wood Cabernet Sauvignon 2004 750ml
Our Price: $110.00

Bright youthful, deep brick red colour, attractive primary fruit, violets, toasty oak, leather, chocolate and mulberry. The wine sings with generous primary fruit. On the palate, the generous dark fruit flavours and full body make it almost plump and round, but underneath is a firm but well-integrated tannin structure and toasty, smoky oak in the background. It has good length and finishes with some violet notes.

Moss Wood Cabernet Sauvignon 2005 750ml
Was: $120.00 Our Price: $108.00

The Moss Wood 2005 Cabernet has a pure voluminous fruit statement of perfumes of violet, fruits of the forest, mulberry, blueberry and blackcurrant aromas - the palate is a statement of vibrant dark fruits which fill the palate from front to back. There’s tight structure, balance and opulence (though it’s not soft and plump) with flavours jumping out and grabbing you by the throat. The oak flavours and the tannins sit seamlessly at the back, giving the wine near-perfect balance.

Moss Wood Cabernet Sauvignon 2007 750ml
Was: $120.00 Our Price: $108.00

Very typical Cabernet Sauvignon fruit aromas. Red currant, mulberry, dark chocolate combine with a background of charry oak, cigar box and spice. It is worth noting the wine’s concentration is such that it can take several minutes to unfold. We recommend allowing it to breathe

Penfolds Bin 707 Cabernet 2004 Magnum 1.5L
Our Price: $405.00

A long, seamless and very sophisticated cabernet despite its significant dimensions, structure and power. It opens with an intense violet-like perfume of aromatic cassis, blackberries and dark plums over dark chocolate and mocha-like oak, with meaty, briary undertones. Simultaneously very firm and cultivated, it’s steeped in piercing flavours of blackberries, dark plums and cassis, and backed by very smart oak and robust, pliant tannins. It’s long and savoury, with a lingering core of explosive dark fruit and dusty, dried herb-liked nuances. A genuine Bin 707. (Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale, Coonawarra, 19.2/97, drink 2024-2034+) Jeremy Oliver

Brown Brothers Patricia Cabernet Sauvignon 2004
Our Price: $59.00

2004 Patricia Cabernet Sauvignon Wow! Absolutely varietal. This is cabernet on a stick. Nose of dried tobacco leaf, crushed leaves and cassis. Super cool and fine. The tannins are talcy and superbly structured to carry the fruit. The palate is long and persistent. This is a masterclass on the use of (French) oak. You know it's there but it's beautifully integrated. Cellar for 8/10 years. ($55.90) Highly Recommended
