Powerful, layered dark fruits with abundant flavour. Screwcap. 14% alc. Rating 90 points Drink 2012 Date Tasted Oct 06; James Halliday Australian Wine Companion 2008The 2005 pinot noir is quite a different beast to the 2004. A slightly warmer vintage has produced a more powerful and richer pinot. It displays aromas of dark cherry and plum with hints of mocha, violets, and spice. The palate is rich in flavour and well structured with multiple layers of flavour and complexity. Luscious morello cherries and stewed dark plums are complemented by mocha, cigar box decadence, and firm silky tannins. Winery Notes
